The Cause for Canonisation
The cause for canonisation of Father Henri Caffarel was opened on April 25, 2006, by Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, Archbishop of Paris, for the good of the Church.
On April 25, 2006, Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, Archbishop of Paris, graciously received the request from the Teams of Our Lady to promote the cause for canonisation of Father Henri Caffarel.
“The Friends of Father Caffarel” desired this canonisation because:
- His holiness is clearly that of a “prophet of the 20th century.”
- His holiness is evident in his life, entirely animated by the Lord.
- His holiness is manifested in the faithfulness of his love for the Church.
